Great product! Couldn't stop eating this!! Would love to buy this by the case!! Very easy to prepare!
This soup was so flavorful and easy to make. I threw the ingredients into my crockpot, added some of the "extras" and took it to a friend's get-together. We all had two bowls, it was so good. I'll definitely will be buying more of these soups.
First time using this. Family LOVED it!!!!!
This soup is fantastic. I'm not a big soup fan but this was hearty and flavorful and so easy to make. My family raved about it.
I have tried this soup and it has become a family favorite! Delicious!
We love this soup. It’s one of the few my son likes. It’s hard to find so I order on line and I think it’s too expensive. Maybe it’s cheaper in a store? What stores in NJ or NY sell it?
Ooooo great soup for a full meal ! My family loves this with cornbread and a salad If anyone is sick it is very soothing
This is the best soup ever. I've been lucky enough to find at TJMAXX a few times and always stock up! Looking forward to trying the other varieties
I was a huge fan of Buckeye Beans & Herbs back in the 80s when they had a full product line including fun shaped pasta and more soups. Chicken 'N Thyme was the first one I had tried and I loved. My favorites were always Chicken 'N Thyme, Great Leapin' Lentils, Beefed-Up Barley, and Barley Burgoo (which unfortunately Seattle Gourmet Foods isn't producing - PLEASE RECONSIDER IF POSSIBLE!). I was so upset when the line was sold off in 1997 and then completely discontinued as the company that bought it went bankrupt in 1999. I stumbled across my 3 favorites, plus the Pea Soup (favorite of my Mom's) in the Christmas Tree shop and was thrilled! You can't go wrong with these soups and I always have to make double batches when I make them.
I was very Leary of purchasing. However,it was simply awesome. The taste reminded us of Thanksgiving. I made some buttermilk cornbread to eat with it and my kids absolutely loved it.
Good Soup!
I found this soup at Ross in Missoula. Made this soup and was surprised at how wonderful it is! Easy to make. As box said, I did 'doodle' by adding carrots, celery and the small amount of broccoli left over in my frig. I will buy more of it again. Not much money to live on, so this was fantastic buy for a Wonderful soup! I also bought Veggie Bean Soup. Now just need tomatoes & tomato sauce to make it.
Another delicious soup from Buckeye Beans & herbs! I add chicken, carrots, green beans and voila... The first time I made it I thought 10 cups of water would be too much, so I put less in the pot. You really need all 10 cups. It makes a good hearty meal.
This is the best tasting soup ever! The instructions were so simple and I added chicken breasts with carrots and I loved how it tasted. It made a big pot that quickly disappeared. The taste of the spices and the ingredients were delicious.
It was wonderful I added celery onion and carrots and of course chicken we all loved it with our grilled cheese sandwiches. Very hearty and flavorful..
I absolutely love this soup. I made it with 5 cups chicken broth and 5 cups water. Added some extra vegies and the chicken. Found it at Ross and went back and bought the rest. Ready in an hour.
I decided to try something NEW, and order it online. I was pleasantly surprised when we sat down to dinner. This Chicken thyme soup is FANTASTIC !! I WILL order more of this and several others that this company offers. Mike.
I can't say enough about this product. I loved the "doodle" around note and my husband and I took it to heart. We added leeks, celery, fresh garlic, carrots and then of all things, lemon zest and a little fresh lemon juice. This "soup" at the ratios in the directions becomes a PERFECT toddler creation. The soup is thick enough to stick to the spoon for easy self-serve and not yet thick enough to be a gloppy stew. I think most toddlers eat chicken and tranisitioning them from the frozen nuggest to the healthier breast meat in this dish was easy. Yay for this! I'm going to recommend it to all my friends!
I found this at TJ Maxx and thought I would give it a try. I substituted the chicken for turkey breast, added celery, a lot of white pepper, chicken goo (better than bouillon stuff), and extra thyme. It was fantastic, the husband I loved it! I couldn't find any more at the store but I am definitely going to purchase again. Well done.
I made this soup today. Hoped it would be delicious as I had made another soup from Buckeye recently. My husband and I were mind~blown. This was absolutely positively scrumptious..heavenly!! The soup tastes like it had been simmering all day long; incredible flavors. I put the chopped onion and chicken (used boneless) in the pot and let them sizzle a bit, then added everything else. Can not wait to have this for lunch or dinner tomorrow, and I have two containers in the freezer for later! This was perfect for the cold snowy day we had and we agreed this meal was like a warm cozy blanket. Best find ever!!! Seriously~get it, it's really delicious!
Please tell me where I can purchase it locally as I do love to have it on hand. Ordering it on line accumulates high shipping rates.
Purchased this soup from T.J. Maxx while on vacation. It sounded simple to make and would be good to have on hand during the snowy weather. It was snowing heavily on Friday, so I ventured to the Grocery store and purchased the chicken, onion, a few extra veggies (carrots and broccoli) and chicken broth. It was so easy to make and delicious. It was a hit with everyone in the house. Served it with an Artisan Garlic Rosemary Bread. Will make again for sure. Would like to try other soups from them.
I'm looking up other soups in this line, this one was so good and so incredibly easy. It's a meal. All I added was a salad.
As many have said before, I purchased this soup at a discount store on a whim. I can't say enough about it. The flavor was out of this world. I used 3 boneless chicken breasts and made the whole soup with low-salt chicken stock instead of water. I added some frozen peas at the end as it was the only vegetable I had on hand. My husband said it was the best soup he has ever eaten and wanted to make sure I found the website and bought more! Excellent soup!!!
We ordered one of everything they had: we have NO "ragrets" :) as they were ALL Fantastic products!
My husband and I love homemade soup and as soon as the weather gets cool, I'm cooking. I received the Chicken N Thyme Soup and the Bean Soup mixes in a gift basket months ago and just assumed they would be just another mix. Was I wrong! The Bean Soup was excellent and I made the Chicken N Thyme Soup this week using bone in chicken breast and half chicken broth, half water. It was so good I just ordered more. Can't wait to make it again as soon as it arrives.
The Chicken & Thyme Soup is soooo good. I cut 2 chicken breasts into chunks and lightly cooked/browned them first in butter for a few minutes. Then I added some onion and put everything into a pot and cooked it. This is the best chicken soup I've ever had. I like that it is a nice thick soup. I found this at a Ross Store in Virginia.
Made it on a cold and rainy Sunday afternoon. I added boneless chicken breast and 2 cans chicken broth. Very easy and very good. My husband really liked it. Bought it a Ross in McAdory, Alabama
Best chickensoup ever!!
I must always have this soup in my pantry. Very easy to make and super delicious. Makes enough for two different meals for two people. Buckeye Beans is doing an outstanding job.
